Statement on American Airlines Flight

British Ice Skating would like to express their heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the tragedy involving an American Airlines flight near Washington, DC last night that is now confirmed to have claimed many lives, including members of the US Figure Skating community - our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with their friends and families at this painful time.


We stand with the rest of the international skating community in sending our love and support to US Figure Skating as they cope with this devastating loss.

 

 

American Airlines have issued the following guidance:

 

If you believe you may have loved ones on board Flight 5342, call American Airlines toll-free at 800-679-8215. Those calling from outside the U.S. can visit news.aa.com for additional phone numbers. Family members in Canada, Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands can call 800-679-8215 directly.
